THE BFI FILM ACADEMY SHORT COURSE
The BFI Film Academy Short Course is a free professional filmmaking course for 16-19 year-olds who want to Break Into Film (up to 25 with ECHP).
Considered the Gold standard, The BFI Short Courses run from October 2023 to January 2024 on evenings, weekends & October half term. Funded by the BFI, Department for Education and National Lottery these courses are free for participants, although spaces are limited.

Short Course participants take on professional film roles, learn about film production & the film industry, create high quality short films, experience a real professional film production and get an industry qualification. The program includes workshops, masterclasses, and hands-on experience with industry experts in storytelling, scriptwriting, producing, directing, editing, & more.
