Release Notes
Most recent first.
1 September 2026
- The registration form now asks which academy you attended and which year, instead of a blank box. That means we can tell you about things that actually apply to you rather than sending everyone the same email.
- Added a question about Education, Health and Care Plans, so we know how to support you properly from the start rather than finding out later.
- Split the interests list apart. Screenwriting, directing and acting are now three separate choices, and there is an art department option, because the old grouping was too broad to tell us anything useful.
- Your age and today’s date now fill themselves in on the registration form.
- Built the community space and brought it fully into the site’s own look, so moving between the two feels like one place rather than two websites.
- Made every form on the site easier to use with a keyboard. The outline showing where you are is now clearly visible, and the tick boxes are bigger and easier to hit.
- Built a single sign-in page for everything, so one account will reach your courses, your alumni area and the community.
- Added two ways to tell us what you think: a short review of the site, and a way to report anything broken.
- Published this page.
20 August 2026
- The site went live and registration opened to anyone aged 16 to 25 across the West Midlands.
- Published the Introductory Courses pages, covering each academy, where it runs and who it is for.
- Published the Alumni page, explaining what membership offers if you have already completed a course.
- Added Ask Us a Question, so there is a direct line to the team.
- Published What’s On and the Partners page.
Tell Us What Would Help
This is being built for the people who use it, so if something is missing or awkward we would rather hear it now than after it is finished.
